Service & FAQs

Maintenance and repair service.

We at Braun Flutes & Piccolos are offering an exclusive maintenance and repair service in our own workshop. We are providing this service in order to maintain the personality of your instrument as well as its quality and reliability.

The prices for this work are to be found in the current price list, which we will gladly send you on request.

Exact prices, however, cannot be given until the instrument has been seen.

How much do Braun flutes and piccolos cost?
A current price list will be sent on request. You can request a price list for EU countries (in which the prices include 16% VAT) or an export price list valid for all other countries (prices excluding VAT).

How do I order an instrument?
To ensure subsequent contact, the best thing is to place your order in writing, by e-mail or fax. Upon receipt of your order you will be put on the current waiting list.

Do you have flutes, piccolos or headjoints in stock?
We only make instruments/headjoints to order. We do not have any instruments or headjoints in stock.

What waiting time is to be expected?
The delivery times are subject to seasonal fluctuation. Upon request we can notify you of the possible delivery date.

When and how much do I have to pay?
About three months before delivery we will contact you to clear up any unresolved issues, and will then send you a pro forma invoice. We will only start work on your order when the invoice total has been paid in full.

How long does it take to make a flute or piccolo?
I usually need about three months.

Is it possible to visit you and try out an instrument?
Please feel free to visit us. But in order to be able to devote adequate time to you and give you the opportunity to try out my flute and piccolo at your leisure, it is a good idea to make an advance arrangement. We thus recommend that a date be fixed.
